Foothills Junior Vets
School Holiday Program
We want to help children with an interest in animals to gain insight and invaluable knowledge into what working at veterinary hospital is really like. Attendees will have the opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes at a working, AVA accredited veterinary hospital.
January 13th, 14th & 17th
Primary school yr 3-6 (Mon sessions)
High School yr 7-12 (Tues session)
Sessions run 10am – 12pm.
Children will spend the morning with some of the Foothills staff learning all about
- preventative pet health care,
- blood smears
- anatomy and much more!
They will have the opportunity to examine some of the Foothills furr-family and will take home a keepsake on the day.
Classes are split into primary school and high school age with each course tailored to ages. The high school groups will also talk about career pathways.
Guardians are welcome to wait in reception, children will not leave the premises for the entirety of the program and will be interacting with one of our friendly staff pets.
Places are limited and do fill fast. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
